Jessica and Tom

Autumn has arrived and it is my personal favorite time of year. The perfect couple to bring in a new season are Tom and Jessica. Their wedding took place at the Riverview in Simsbury and it was an amazing day. Beautiful 75 degree weather and not a cloud in the sky. They were easy to work with and had a very easy going demeanor. We got some great footage and even managed to squeeze in some shots of Tom's Beemer! Enjoy.

Joseph and Kayla

As fall is kicking into gear it's always nice to remember those warm summer weddings. Joe and Kayla got married late August at St. Sebastian church in Middletown. Much to our delight the church was nice and cool despite the balmy temperatures outside. This wedding reminded me why every one should have their wedding on video. Their priest (an incredibly nice guy) admitted that he doesn't do as many weddings as he used to. One unforgettable moment was when he blew out the two unity candles that the mothers had just lit. He was convinced that single large candle was supposed to have been lit by the moms. The look on his face as Joe was shaking his head no was priceless. He quickly reached for the matches and cued the organist to "Keep the music going!". Everyone had a good laugh and the ceremony was a beautiful event. From there we headed to Hubbard Park for some pictures before ending the night in Waterbury at the Villa Rosa. Joe and Kayla had a great day and they were fun to work with. Enjoy!

Lonnie and Karen

We had a whole half day with Lonnie and Karen and we got some great footage. The day started at the Marriot in Hartford. From there we filmed the couple and their family at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford. It was one of those steamy August days. Everyone was flocking to shade whenever they could. After the photo session we drove back to Pratt St. in Hartford to the beautiful Society Room. We had a traditional Jewish Katubah signing and then the ceremony under the Hupa. Lonnie and Karen were blessed to be surrounded by friends and family on their wedding day. The Society Room provided a stunny backdrop for their event and we took full advantage of the scenery. Lonnie was a jokster and kept everbody laughing while Karen was very chill and managed to keep everything organized. They are a fun couple and we enjoyed being a part of their day. Enjoy!

Josh and Andrea

Now presenting Josh and Andrea! This couples wedding day started in Wethersfield at the Corpus Christi Church. It was a nice service but a little warm, like 90 degrees warm. Josh and Andrea, however, stayed cool and looked great. From there it was on to the State Capital building. Josh had arranged a permit to shoot in the capital. The capital police had a different idea insisting that no one is allowed in the capital building. After examining Josh's permit document he directed him to the City Hall building...wrong building. Everyone had a good laugh and they decided to take advantage of the beautiful capital building's exterior while we were there. Then it was off to City Hall for some equally stunning footage. Andrea and Josh had natural poise and were very easy to work with. Hubert and Alka were their photographers and we enjoyed working with them for the very first time. Finally, we ended the evening at the Farmington Club. Despite the hot August weather the day was beautiful and we got some great footage. Enjoy!

Katie and Sebby

The dog days of summer are here and the weddings are getting as hot as the weather. Katie and Sebastian had a great day for their wedding day. It started at the Church of the Incarnation in Wethersfield. Then we went to City Hall for some pictures. Thanks to Eric Foley Photography for some creative moments with the couple. The day finished off at The Riverview in Simsbury. Katie and Sebby were so easy to work with and they had a great big party of a wedding day. Thanks to my assistant Alex for holding down the filming while I retrieved a left behind field recorder. Enjoy!

Brock and Jessica

July has come and gone and just like that our season is half way over but the weddings just keep getting better. That brings us to Brock and Jessica who had an early July wedding on the shore in North Stonington at The Saltwater Farm Vineyard. Brock and Jessica met at Uconn and had an awesome reunion of classmates at their wedding. What can I say, I loved this wedding. I don't know if it was the beautiful day or being on the shore. Maybe it was the venue which was a former airplane hanger which was transformed into a real working vineyard which also hosts weddings (wine and weddings what a combo!). Perhaps it was the obvious joy of two people getting married who were having a great time even when they realized that someone forgot the bottle opener (great job by the staff to grab one so the ceremony wasn't delayed too long). Well, whatever it was that I enjoyed so much I hope you enjoy it too.

Joe and Gabrielle

Presenting Joe and Gabrielle. This was one of those weddings where the photographer (or the videographer) didn't have to ask for smiles for the pictures because smiles were all over the place. Joe and Gabby both had infectious smiles that made everyone want to smile with them. They had a lot to smile about. A beautiful late June day in downtown Hartford, lots of friends and family around them, and a motorcycle rally right next to the Old State House. Okay, two out of three isn't bad. Even the sound of Harleys passing by couldn't ruin this day. The Society Room hosted the reception and the whole day was great to film. Enjoy!
